can't think of any ways to 'decorate' my blog. i couldn't even find a new template. i simply changed the bg back to white and it is fine for me now. it srsly need some major layout change once i haf time.

three months gone, my work term is coming to an end. I'm not quite sure if i am ready for another academic term yet, especially a term in winter. frown. winter is not a season that i look forward in Waterloo anyways. naw naw naw. it's okay, more studying and indoor activities, snow no more.

my team is awesome... without a surprise, my company is very male dominated, the male to female ratio in my department is like 97:3. i can hardly tell they are any girls around. the sinks in the ladies room are always dry... because they are only so many girls around to use the girls' wc. lol. anyways, i've been learning much in this two days. i shall be heading out to the HKE Lamma generation plant tomorrow with 2 of my team members. We will be collecting flue gas from chimney 1,2,3 and L9. woot! gotta learn :)

Please be advised that there has been a report of intruders attempting to break into suites at UWP. Three males, of Indian or South Asian descent, were roaming the halls of a UWP building at approximately 3:30am on August 7. The intruders were testing several suite doors to see if they were unlocked. It is believed that the intruders got into our building either by buzzing several suites or by going through a door that was propped open.

Please be advised that the police have been notified of this incident. At this point, I would ask that you NOT let anyone into the buildings unless you KNOW them. If somebody buzzes your suite, ensure you know who they are before letting them in. Please do not prop doors open. I also highly recommend that you lock your suite door when nobody is home and when you are asleep.

If you have information regarding this or if you see anything suspicious please contact the UW Police IMMEDIATELY at ext. 22222 or 519 888 4911.

As some of you might know: jackie loves Malaysians! Malaysians are cool (Yes, you're cool Karen!). They speak multiple languages, i.e. English, Mando, Canto, Fu jian, Min nan etc.

3A is officially over! It has been a very hectic term but I believe it is one of the best terms I've ever had in Waterloo. Wonderful groupmates, professors, and TAs indeed.

Karen, Maricor, and I went to Mattot's office right after the ultra boring hydrology lecture. We debated if we should just show up and request to take a picture with him. Maricor then suggested that we should say a sincere thank you and goodbye to this wonderful blue eyes a.math prof before taking the pic.

My first impression of his office was neat, bright, and American! Before having the picture taken, Maricor said to Mattot, "that's how much we love you Prof Mattot! muhahaha" While we were hesitating who should go have a pic with him... guess who showed up!? Hammond Lo indeed! Hammond was appointed as our personal photographer at the spot.
//I thought he would never wanted to take a pic with a prof, but apparently he couldn't resist it. priceless gesture wor, hami ham ham :P

Thank you Professor Mattot, you have truly been an awesome lecturer.
